The first big one
The public pack caught up with everything we'd built since September, with nine new mods and three new missions, and every mod that was already in it got an update. It came to twenty-six mods across 123 developer builds.
Three new missions. COUNTRY RETREAT was two farmhouses and a tent camp in a forest gorge. POLAR PLUNGE is a forward base on a frozen coast that you reach by swimming in from the sea, and OPERATION RED WINGS puts five enemy camps along a river valley in the mountains, with a Black Hawk to rope you onto the hill above them and pick you up from the same spot.
A new enemy. They walk patrol routes and hold rooms, and they come looking when they hear shots. They clear a building room by room and lean around cover to throw grenades. Their medics treat their own wounded, and at night they wear night vision.
The lounge. A new door in the lobby corridor opens onto a cigar lounge and a game room with a bowling alley upstairs, and the shoot house next door has steel targets and enemies to run drills against.
Vehicles and roles. On Mexico Depot you can drive a Ford Raptor with your team in the back or fly a Little Bird with Hellfires and a minigun. The JTAC can call in an A-10 gun run, and the Assaulter fast-ropes off rooftops.
Everything else. Text chat arrived with emoji and reactions, and the home screen got its own picture and music. Loading got quicker too, and the game started using less memory.
