Report // When it breaks

Report a problem

Reports are sent from the launcher, which packs up your logs for you and gives us a way to answer you right there.

01

Sign in with Steam

Open the launcher and press SIGN IN WITH STEAM on the ACCOUNT tab. You sign in on Steam's own page, and reports only come from accounts signed in that way, so we know who sent each one and can answer it.

02

Play until it happens

Start OPERATOR with LAUNCH and play until the problem shows up. That run writes the logs we need, and a report can't be sent without them.

03

Send it

On the REPORT page, pick what went wrong and tell us in a sentence or two what you were doing. Press SEND REPORT and you'll get a ticket number back.

04

Watch for an answer

Replies show up on the REPORT tab, with a count on the tab when there's something new, and you can answer back from there.

Check a report

Type the ticket number you were given to see where it stands.

Can't use the launcher?

If the launcher won't start or you can't sign in, ask on our Discord and somebody will help you get going.

What to write

The description

Tell us what you were doing when it happened, and which mission you were on. If you were the host, say so, and let us know whether it happens every time or only now and then.

We keep a list of what's broken and work our way down it, so what you hit may already be on there. Send it anyway, because a second log often shows the part the first one missed.

Before you file

Two things cause most reports

01

Different pack versions

Co-op runs on the host's machine, so a player who's a version behind sees something different from what the host has. Compare the number at the top of the launcher before you start digging.

02

A half-finished update

Start the launcher and let it finish before you host, since it updates itself first and the pack after that.
